Inspired entirely by Nick Misani's Fauxsaic project, I decided to try making one of my own. This will be part of a mailer for Mosaic Boston's Easter weekend services.
The process was very long, but entirely worth it. Very pleased with the results!

All vectored up

After adding the tiles around in Procreate

I created a blue hex pattern in Illustrator to be the background tiles behind the design.

The finished piece!
Added shading, texture, and lighting to the tiles in Photoshop.
